THE ROLE

To support current business and to assist in this continued growth, there is an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager within this dynamic, ambitious and well-established team.

The role oversees a broad range of clients across all sectors and disciplines. While the need is for a financial skills set (M&A and calendar experience), activities are broad and encompass the entire communications mix. This is a truly blended role covering both corporate and financial communications.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• To manage – sophisticated client communication programmes alongside more senior and junior team members

• To build – the team reputation through excellent service and the team's success through new client wins

• To apply learning – by bringing fresh thinking and new approaches

• To deliver excellent client outcomes at all levels – every day and on every mandate

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Proven track record of both financial and corporate media relations expertise with a solid understanding of the UK business media landscape (NB. this is obligatory and we cannot consider applications from candidates without this experience)

• Experience of financial calendar, IPO and M&A situations

• Confident in advising on the use of new and established channels and tactics – from traditional print media, through online and to social

• Someone who is a creative thinker and thinks outside the box

• An agenda-setter – capable of managing and driving the direction of multiple client accounts in a fast-paced and pressurised environment without day-to-day oversight

• Proven ability to identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships to include additional solutions and services
