A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager to join a young and ambitious risk management and brokerage company based in West End. The company are privately owned and have around 30 employees in their London head office.

The Office Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the London office – liaising with all employees, visitors and guests.

To be successful you will have an enthusiastic attitude, be proactive and be able to use your own initiative to solve problems. role will suit applicants who have had some exposure to office management through front of house, or administration experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the meeting room calendar

• Welcome all external guests and provide refreshments

• Arrange office entertainment incl. breakfasts or lunches

• Book lunch and dinner meetings at restaurants as and when required

• Manage calendars and arrange appointments for management

• Manage incoming and outgoing post and couriers

• Book travel, transport and accommodation

• Manage stationery and office supplies

• keep office and kitchen tidy

• Cover the mainline telephone, redirect calls and deal with telephone enquiries

• Prepare letters, cover letters, presentations and reports

• adhoc administration

• Liaise with building manager and security team for all building related issues incl. maintenance and upkeep

• Assist with organising company events and client events

• Manage induction process for new employees

• Ensure that health and safety policies are kept and up to date

• Manage holiday records for all employees

• Obtain and maintain necessary Health & Safety qualifications, act as Fire Marshal and be fully First Aid trained

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Experience working in business administration, office management

• Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;

• Has a ‘can-do' approach with the ability to motivate

• Good problem solving skills.
