Ten years of success has been celebrated by a business that continues to expand its influence at a rapid pace, in the UK’s capital.
When ISE Partners first launched in June 2007, the mission was to create a highly specialised secretarial recruitment agency, capable of working in a tailored manner for London’s booming investment sector.
In addition to serving this fast-moving customer base, the original founders (Isobel Burns, Susannah Lawson and Eva Rode-Hilbert) wanted to offer an unrivalled search service for the intelligent and ambitious candidates who thrive in this demanding industry. Within a year, the firm had become a trusted recruitment partner for many of the world’s top Private Equity and Hedge Fund businesses, and the team were beginning to serve other high-performing companies, particularly within the Professional Services and Technology sectors.
ISE Partners sailed through the global financial crisis unscathed, due to the consistency of service provided, and strength of their professional relationships – the team continues to expand the firm’s customer base to this day. In 2015, the founders introduced a PR and Communications search division, run by Melissa Hosken, their former colleague. Specialising in Financial PR and Corporate Communications, it complements the support staff business perfectly, creating networks with a different pool of experienced professionals.
Director, Susannah Lawson, said: “We owe our success to the dedicated manner in which our consultants work: They go to great lengths to help candidates and clients fulfil their aspirations; we are proud of their deep industry knowledge.”
Some of the business’s key working relationships now bridge the decade that the group has been operating: Candidates have become clients and vice versa, due to the trust placed in individual ISE consultants. The firm also offers additional services beyond contingency search and selection, including the design of job specifications and up-to-the-minute market commentary, plus a regular programme of events and seminars run by Associate Director, Jen Talbott, which keeps clients updated on key workforce trends and legislation.
In early 2017, Isobel exited the business, and Susannah and Eva have formed a strategic partnership with Pertemps Network Group, which increases both business’s growth and presence across the country. PNG is the UK’s largest independent recruitment business, with branches nationwide.
With an excellent decade behind them, we look forward to watching ISE Partners continue to develop over the next ten years.
