EA/Office Manager

Central London

£45000 - £55000 per annum
Ref: 084105969  Date Posted:  13/05/2020
Can you demonstrate a track record of acting as the EA 'hub' for a growing start-up? We are seeking an EA and Office Management guru to join this successful US business as they open out their first European office.

You will provide seamless EA support to the Head of Europe plus two others initially, so exposure to managing constantly changing schedules and hectic travel planning will be essential (minimum 5-8 years demonstrated experience). As an EA you will be a natural, warm extension of the London professional team: you will be inherently curious about others, ask intelligent questions with gravitas and be able to summarise complex information quickly and concisely. With a natural flair for new technology, you will be able to move from different systems easily to ensure important stakeholder information is captured and can easily be retrieved.

You will be a master of forward planning: trip to Helsinki coming up? Who else can you connect with to try to secure a meeting at the same time for your Partner? However, you must also be able to 'turn on a sixpence' if plans change (which they will do without warning in this dynamic environment) and you will be the type of person who naturally embraces change and moves toward it.

Exposure to events planning and management could be beneficial as the office will host various symposiums and forums for the tech entrepreneur community in Europe, which will be your responsibility to organise.

Your operations duties could include establishing and managing all vendor relationships, further hiring and management of an admin team over time and basic London office accounting and financial reporting to the US. Flexibility is essential in order to be an asset to the US team, and your reporting line will be based there too (West Coast), this is both in terms of time management but also the ability to travel from time-to-time to the HQ.

You will have excelled previously in a similar, all-encompassing EA/OM role in a fast moving industry sector (digital, tech, life sciences) and be accustomed to reporting to CEO/Leadership level. Humble, eager to learn and with a killer eye for detail: does this sound like you? We'd love to hear from you!
