This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Account Manager looking for a step up and to work for a leading PR and communications firm. You will have a deep sector expertise within financial services, that will match this firms strong track record in advising many prominent businesses within asset management, pensions, investment/retail banking and private equity.

This Account Director level role will suit someone who enjoys working in a forward thinking fast paced environment.


  • Lead and develop media strategies, build and develop relationships with relevant and key journalists. issues and crisis management
  • Strategic planning and daily effective client counsel
  • Maintain a good understanding of clients’ business objectives, media and issues in their wider industry sector and managing of programmes to enable them to meet those objectives
  • SIgnificantly contributing to new business preparation and pitching whilst maintaining prospect contacts
  • Copy writing; press releases and thought leadership pieces
  • Keeping up to date with the latest social media trends, proactively developing material
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members                                        



  • You will have a strong background within communications and recent experience in either a UK based PR agency or in-house role
  • You will have a detailed knowledge of the financial services sector, with significant understanding of the investment sphere
  • Excellent networking and business development skills
  • You’ll have proven experience of forming strong client relationships built on trust, leadership and respect
  • You’ll understand the importance of staying creative and relevant in your approach in order to bring thoughtful ideas to client’s attention
  • Experience of leading and managing a junior team
