Varied Communications and Marketing Manager role, Impressive Alternative Investment Firm - CENTRAL LONDON

The key purpose of this Communications and Marketing role will be to work alongside Sales, to co-ordinate and deliver client communications, supporting the effective delivery of the firm’s strategic goals. The role will also have input into the broader communications and marketing activity, including digital, strategic marketing, brand development and communications.

The candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of client communications, including mail outs, client letters, quarterly updates and presentations. They will also be responsible for creating and implementing an internal communications framework for sales information, to ensure the sales staff are up to date and fully informed with key messages on developments.  

The role will work across the business, ensuring a solid understanding of the firm’s objectives, both at the corporate level, geographically and across the five investment engines.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work with Sales, Communications and Marketing to co-ordinate the production of client communications, including client letters, mail outs, memos, Q&As and quarterly newsletters in support of the firm’s strategic objectives
  • Work as part of the Communications and Marketing team, with input into digital, strategic marketing including sponsorships, brand development, and internal & external communications
  • Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s strategy, messages and sales objectives across all geographical areas in order to message and support communications appropriately
  • Liaise with Sales to ensure that communications are delivered effectively and prioritised appropriately, tailored to international requirements
  • Manage the production of client presentations, ensuring consistency of the firm’s brand and messaging
  • Work with Sales, where appropriate, to support client events and roadshows
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams to source and co-ordinate appropriate conference opportunities
  • Create and manage a central internal communications framework for the dissemination of sales information eg. executive road shows, issues communications, business updates, product launches, product changes
  • Produce content to effectively communicate messaging around issues, product launches, new hires, departures etc. including sales team memos and client Q&A’s

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A strong understanding of client relationship management, marketing andIR/communication whithin an asset management environment
  • Excellent investment/financial product knowledge and stakeholder management skills
  • A track record in timely and effective project management
  • Digital and content development experience
  • Excellent writing skills and numeracy
  • Strong organisation and delegation skills necessary
  • Ability to prioritise assignments, based on a broad understanding of the business requirements, to meet project deliverables.
