If you are an experienced Financial Communications advisor, who is not quite ready to move in-house, but looking to work more deeply with a smaller number of client on complex critical communications challenges, this boutique firm could be for you.

The team all have big agency international backgrounds, so are hired by the senior management teams of high profile businesses to deliver their strategic agenda. They work at C-suite level, to achieve business objectives and successfully meet today's evolving communications challenges. They have a particularly outstanding track record of critical communications situations such as M&A, IPOs, restructurings, activism and financial crisis situations.

This is a boutique firm with an entrepreneurial approach, so they favour a less-hierarchical approach and give team members the chance to shape their own roles in line with business requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• You might have either a consultancy or in-house background, but will be used to working with or within a large business and advising at the most senior level

• Global experience is important, particularly working with clients across Continental Europe. Languages, especially, French and Italian would be a bonus. The role will also likely involve some travel abroad.

• Whilst the work is predominantly financial, corporate backgrounds will be considered

• You will have a track record in media relations and a network of relevant business journalist contacts

• You will also have experience of reputation and issues management as well as corporate positioning at C-Suite level

• Experience in proactive new business development is desirable – both in terms of developing credentials and proposals as well as targeting potential clients and attending networking events

• You must be educated to degree level or equivalent

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident in communicating with senior management

• Fluent in English, fluency in other European languages a plus

• A team player, able to build relationships both internally and externally.

• Keen interest in business news and current affairs

• High standards of integrity and commitment
