An exciting new opportunity has arisen within this leading, international financial and corporate communications firm, for an Account Manager. The client list is both broad and international, so there is immense scope for individuals to diversify in the longer term. The firm has been involved in some of the most high profile Mergers, Acquisitions and IPO's, as well as handling ongoing reputation management for an impressive portfolio of retained clients across all industries.

Due to recent internal changes, the business has grown significantly and now has 11 offices spanning 8 countries. In addition to a strong UK client list, many clients are listed outside of the UK.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Build and maintain client relationships

• Support for senior team and day to day account handling and execution of strategy

• Assisting with and managing the preparation of messaging materials – key messages, presentations, press releases, Q&A

• News monitoring

• Press analysis and summaries

• Analyst feedback

• Research for current clients and new business opportunities

• Forging productive relationships with clients, press and investment analysts

Desired skills and experience:

• Corporate and/or financial PR experience, gained in agency or in-house

• Demonstrable interest and understanding of Financial Services, the broader business, economic and political environment

• Hard working, flexible, adaptable and proactive

• Enthusiastic team player, able to build strong relationships and to command the confidence of others both internally and externally

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Good attention to detail

• Independent, clear and creative thinking, takes initiatives, goes beyond the expected, spots opportunities and innovates

• Continually seeks to broaden knowledge and contact base ; looks to share insight
