This leading light within the corporate communications advisory world, is looking for a dynamic and politically-minded individual to join its highly successful Political and Regulatory Team.

This full-time role will provide support in tracking policy developments, media and political monitoring, following political and parliamentary activity, undertaking detailed and at times complex research, completing high quality written briefing documents. Additionally, talented, reliable and enthusiastic members will have the opportunity to develop quickly, meeting with clients and helping to execute clients' public affairs strategies with direction from members of the senior team. It would suit someone looking for a second or third job in public affairs, someone with Westminster, Whitehall or think-tank experience, or a truly exceptional recent graduate.


• Be confident, ambitious and demonstrate knowledge of, and genuine enthusiasm for, politics and public affairs
• Be an enthusiastic and reliable team player with a ‘can do' attitude while also being able to work independently and take initiative as appropriate, working within our relatively small team
• Use initiative, anticipate needs and be trusted to deliver written work to a very high standard, in a busy environment and to tight deadlines, while maintaining a ‘can do' attitude
• Be able to conduct detailed research and offer original, insightful analysis of the political environment, using widely sourced information
• Have strong written skills which prize accuracy and attention to detail, as well as an ability to summarise complex policy in a concise and interesting manner
• Understand the value of public affairs and how it fits into clients' objectives, be able to think strategically and see the ‘bigger picture', especially politically
• Have a working knowledge of UK Government and parliamentary procedure and institutions. Parliamentary or public affairs experience would be advantageous
• Possess excellent verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey specialist information in a credible and persuasive manner to a range of audiences
