Reporting to the Director of Communications & Marketing, this is a richly varied role, supporting the development and implementation of global communications and marketing strategy including financial and corporate PR, digital, brand and internal communications.   The business is a global leader within the investment management sector and the teams invest across a diverse range of strategies and asset classes. They have highly specialised approaches with long only and alternative strategies run on a discretionary and quantitive basis in single and multi-manager formats.   Responsibilities and Duties: Support the development and implementation of the firm's global communications and marketing strategy including financial and corporate PR, digital, brand and internal communications Support the development and implementation of communications strategies for the firm across regions and products
Support the creation and distribution of press materials including writing/proofing press releases, media Q&As, thought leadership, briefing documents, website content, client communications, presentations and internal communications Organise and coordinate media meetings and interviews for investment professionals, including advance briefing Support and implement firm's internal communications initiatives, diversity programme and events Support management of contract PR firms and other department service providers Draft and edit internal newsletters and deliver ad hoc internal reports on firm activity Research and analyse potential speaker opportunities and events Support global communications and marketing activities and initiatives including corporate social responsibility, investor relations support, sponsorships, public affairs, social media, marketing and research Coordinate with industry bodies
Press coverage monitoring, analysis and distribution Coordinate the firm's communications policies and protocols   Qualifications and Skills: 2-5 years previous experience in a communications role either in-house or agency is essential Strong academic track record, educated to at least degree level or equivalent A knowledge of the investment sector, or broader financial services sphere strongly preferred Genuine interest in investment management Experience implementing marketing/communications programs Good knowledge of the UK business and investment media landscape Strong writing and numeracy skills Strategic thinker and team player Innovative, creative and a self-starter High levels of discretion
