Our client, a successful and innovative currency trading firm based in West London is growing their HR Team and are now ready to appoint a CIPD qualified HR Manager to work closely with the Chief People Officer and HR Assistant.
You will take responsibility for various aspects of:
Promotions and salary
·        Creating monthly reports for the Management team
·        Updating necessary parties on salary increases and promotions 
·        Using insight from reviews to inform promotions pipeline, providing foresight ahead of Exec monthly meetings  
·        Monitor and oversee the review process
·        Keeping abreast of industry pay to ensure salaries remain competitive
People development
·        Establishing good working relationships with Managers, to encourage ongoing dialogue between Managers and the People team
·        Own a tracker logging individual training actions that arise from reviews and monitoring progress against agreed actions
·        Training implementation; sourcing and creating internal training sessions or sourcing external trainers where necessary
·        Performance Management process
Culture and EDO
·        Lead internal recognition initiative – inviting entries, compiling entries and helping guide management on selecting a winner each month
·        Schedule regular wellbeing sessions, and using insight gleaned from these sessions to create recommendations
·        Responsibility for the cultural calendar
·        Support work streams related to charity partnerships
HR day-to-day (strong Excel skills and good understanding of employment law, for example:
·        Owning the HR master document - updating figures, pulling out insight/ Owning the HR software database – updating data, pulling out insights, running reports 
·        Reading and sharing intel with People team from the wider HR landscape and supporting the creation of new HR policies, as needed
·        Maternity/paternity/ shared parental leave – explaining the policy to employees, scheduling check-ins with employees while on leave as needed, organising KIT days and providing ongoing to support to employees as needed when they return to work etc.   
·        Leavers – managing process from when employee hands in notice to when they leave Headland (agreeing last date, calculating holiday, schedule exit interview, instruct support team on gift, liaise with People team on logistics for leaving speeches etc.)
·        New joiners – manage the process from when an offer is accepted through to the new joiner completing their first two weeks. (Draft offer letter and contract, liaise with new joiner ahead of start date, create induction schedule, get all info needed to prove right to work status etc.
