An exciting opportunity has become available to be a part of a successful and close-knit Administrative Assistants team within a global investment firm in the central London.
 
This is a superb hedge fund opportunity, working under a wonderful EA Manager alongside a highly supportive team of 6 AAs. The firm is expanding, and the Support team are searching for a new Admin assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The EA manager has done an excellent job in creating a fantastic culture created for the admin group.
They really work as a team in every sense and supports one another closely. The team also get on very well with one another and go above and beyond to ensure that any new member joining their team feels comfortable and welcomed.
 
This brand-new role has been created to support a group of macro Portfolio Managers and ensuring that all of their admin tasks are taken care of. They need someone super keen and switched on, because the Portfolio managers are not only busy, but they also want their Assistant to get to know their work and think ahead, make suggestions, etc.  This is a really exciting role with tonnes to keep you busy plus continue learning about the investment sector, and within a supportive and super lovely admin team.

 What you’ll do

- Manage calendars and conference calls, make appointments, book conference rooms, organise meetings
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Create and process expense reports
- Manage phone coverage for team and set up conference calls as needed
- Participate in elements of the research process
- Perform personal assistant functions (scheduling, reservations etc.) if required
- Work on special projects as needed

 
 What’s required

- Ability to exercise sound judgement in assessing and determining how to handle queries, calls and issues
- Ability to multitask and priorities assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with all levels of staff
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
