This is a great opportunity for a PR Account Manager, with a strong background in either corporate or financial communications, to join a team of experts with an exemplary knowledge of workings of financial markets, the media, governments and regulators.

 
The firm works with leading companies to support them through the demanding process of communicating their strategy, their goals and their performance to the financial markets and the business media.
 
The team have an unrivalled track record handling communications for big name clients across all industry sectors, so there is the opportunity to work broadly across a blend of different clients. While the client portfolio is hugely impressive the flat structure means that client contact is high and responsibility is given quickly to those who demonstrate the are capable operators.
 
Responsibilities

- Account management an impressive array of clients
- Regular networking with investment journalists, helping to secure quality press coverage for clients in national papers and the institutional and retail investment press
- Regular client contact, often acting as the first port of call and advice giver
- Mentoring junior team members

 
Requirements

- 1-2 years agency experience, or in an in-house corporate communications role
- An interest in finance and investment, and a thirst for news and current affairs
- Detailed financial knowledge is not a prerequisite, but applicants must be numerate and able to write well in English
- Foreign languages are a bonus but not vital
- Successful candidates are typically bright, confident, personable and hard working
