An exciting opportunity has arisen for a global social media firm as a Social Media Researcher, to work on the development of their social media and news platform. 

Enthusiastic and committed, the ideal candidate will enjoy taking ownership of tasks whilst having an inquisitive mind to help them learn and develop. This role would suit a motivated individual, complemented with good organisational skills, ability to set priorities, be flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment. 

Duties will include: 
• Collate and carry out market research on current news, affairs, trends and ideas across social media platforms
• Build lists of social accounts to aid News, Sport and Entertainment partners with content discovery
• Providing insights and opinions into various markets 
• Online research of influential social accounts for different topics and countries
• Data entry and organisation
• Check quality of entries and maintain a bespoke in-house system
• Aim to continuously improve the research process, from the sources of information used, transfer of knowledge and final product quality
