An exciting opportunity for a degree educated, experienced Assistant to support a small team within a venture capital firm, covering a wide variety of tasks including EA duties, complex diary scheduling, CRM management and database work, event management and logistics planning.
This is an involving role where you will be an integral part of the team, working in partnership with a high-achieving group. This is a communicative and supportive team, but also one with high expectations. The pace is fast, so attention to detail, taking instruction well and having an inquisitive mind are essential.
They are looking for an intelligent Assistant to provide wide ranging support - initially the scheduling and proactive diary and travel management, and certainly wider duties, such as assisting on research, CRM database management and event planning.
There is definite room to learn, develop and achieve more in your role, once you have fully grasped the important tasks required to support the team in this first instance.
This role will appeal to someone who already has an interest in and experience of working within the investment sector, and who is an intelligent person, eager to learn and develop. You must however understand this is a support role.
You will be responsible for:
International travel arrangements and creating itineraries
Proactive diary management and ensuring follow up on all meetings
Managing project timelines ensuring receipt of information required
Supporting on research projects
Managing CRM database; ensure all data is correct and up to date, proactive tracking of contacts
Creating presentations
Assisting with events; sourcing venues, planning, guest lists, assisting on the day
