Are you a dedicated office and facilities assistant with proven experience within the corporate world, looking for your next fixed term contract within a US headquartered investment firm?
You will work alongside the head of facilities, supporting with all aspects of office life. The firm is fully committed to offering a supportive, vibrant environment for their employees, and therefore in exchange for your positive, hardworking attitude, you will be provided with ample social opportunities.
Being within the fast-paced investment sector, you will revel at the chance to hit the ground running and will enjoy the ever-changing environment that this type of business provides. Due to the fact you will be starting at a hugely transformational time (there is an impending office move), you will revel in the chance to become a key member of the operations team.
You will, through your previous experience in a similar role, be adept at handling all aspects of facilities coordination and administrative support. On top of your work coordinating suppliers, ordering stock, meeting/greeting and answering the phones, you will also be required to assist with general admin duties, including some invoice processing and document production as required.
You will be very well presented and will be at ease communicating with those across the organisational structure, from within the organisation and externally. You will be meticulous in your written communication, both in your email correspondence and in your ability to produce and proof-read documents, meeting packs and presentations. You will not be afraid to get your hands dirty, and will make it your business to be involved with any front-of-house task required so as to never hinder the work flow.
We are very keen to hear from assistants with similar experience, who thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment, and who can confidently assist with all elements of facilities coordination/administration as required. This role is initially being hired on a 6-month contract, however could go permanent after that period for the right candidate.
