We’re seeking an expert and hands-on Executive Assistant to support the inspirational and communicative Founding Partner of a leading financial communications consultancy based in the heart of The West End.
This opportunity would suit an Executive Assistant who excels at dealing with the sensitive communications and high-profile networks found at Managing / Founding Partner level, whilst remaining team-focused in a boutique, collegiate environment
You will have natural gravitas when dealing with external stakeholders and captains of industry, but you will be all hands-on deck when it comes to meeting team objectives, including the coordination of external events, as one of two assistants in this close-knit, 20-person office.
Duties include:
- Charming and assured gatekeeping, where all those who need an audience with your Managing Partner feel valued and in safe, capable hands. Experience in dealing with politicians, high profile journalists and leaders in the investment sector essential
- Sensitive, proactive and thoughtful calendar and inbox management, thinking about the Managing Partner’s wellbeing as well as priorities and work volume
- Careful travel planning for the Managing Partner and Leadership team
- Event planning and management for dinners, breakfast roundtables and awards ceremonies, including maintaining expert knowledge of London venues and new restaurant openings
- Assistance with pitch production and press briefings.
- Meeting and greeting high-profile visitors
- Office management duties including supplier liaison, H&S oversight, on-boarding and training new starters
Requirements:
- Academic degree from leading institution or strong A-level equivalents backed up with industry sector experience
- 8+ years of high-level EA experience some of which will have been gained in the investment / financial services sector or in the political sphere
- Strong MS Office including Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Advantageous to have experience in LoopUp, Dropbox and basic Health & Safety
- Ability to work core hours of 8am-6pm (some flexibility to be office present from 8:30am)
