Working alongside the London Head of HR in this leading international professional services firm, this is an ideal opportunity to expand your HR Generalist and Advisory capabilities in a partnership setting.

Your role will be broad and will encompass supporting key stakeholders in the business with all aspects of the HR life cycle.  Whilst you will have a strong generalist background and enjoy tackling HR operations, we are particularly keen to see profiles with a recent emphasis on employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle all employee relations matters including employee performance management, disciplinary and leaver processes, taking particular care to ensure the Firm complies with all legal, HR best practice and compliance requirements.
- Advising HR Head and Head of London on people issues, including employment law and responsibilities of a regulatory matter 
- Supporting the recruitment process for the 70+ administrative and support functions across the business, including production of employment contracts etc.
- Ensuring the leadership are kept appraised of engagement and retention issues, in addition to any market trends
- Actively seeking opportunities to add value to the firm from a commercial and values perspective (e.g. DE&I)
- Work closely with Head of London and Head of HR to develop and roll out new policies and procedures to the UK & Ireland staff group
- Maintaining robust Workday records (reporting experience useful)
- Support on any global HR projects and handle ad-hoc processes including staff transfer/immigration matters

Qualifications:

CIPD (MCIPD preferred)
Degree (essential)
Postgraduate (desirable)

Required Experience:

- Proven substantial generalist HR experience (at least 4 years, ideally in a professional services/financial services setting and ideally in a partnership structure).
- Previous experience of managing at least 1 other
- Previous experience of handling sensitive/complex employee relations matters.
- Previous experience of Workday would be highly desirable.

Person Specification:

With a genuine desire to help others, you will be able to form strong working relationships quickly with excellent influencing skills.  Given the need to deal with very senior stakeholders (Partners in the firm), the ability to be diplomatic and discreet with a natural gravitas is essential.
As you will be dealing with several different lines of the business, you will need to be highly organised in order to manage conflicting demands on your time.
With your inclusive approach and abilty to operate with empathy and sensitivity as part of this small HR unit you will need to have the ability to both command respect but also foster and promote a team spirit
