Overview

This is a rare and career-accelerating opportunity to join a growing hedge fund in the heart of Mayfair. Our client is looking for a bright and engaging Assistant who can be at the helm of their growth journey, and who thrives in working in fast-paced and high-achieving environments. This position is varied and will play a pivotal role in supporting the Founder, President and COO of the firm, alongside ensuring the broader office runs smoothly in preparing for growth! We therefore need someone who is driven and solutions-focused, who takes pride in remaining three steps ahead, always. 


Key Details:
  • £55 - £75k plus bonus and leading benefits.
  • Official hours: 8am – 6pm, Monday – Friday.
  • Based in modern, open, West End-located offices.
  • Work alongside passionate, highly driven and motivated individuals.

Role Overview:


This role will see you support the Founder, President and COO of a medium-sized yet growing hedge fund and is suited to someone who is seeking variation in their day-to-day and is excited by the prospect of joining a firm set for growth. You will be a key facilitator in ensuring things run smoothly for the Partners, team and office, and therefore you will have a 'no task is too small' mentality. You must be a natural problem-solver who can manage conflicting priorities seamlessly and professionally, whilst also demonstrating an improver mentality and an investment in always thinking ahead. Working in a busy and demanding team, you will be genuinely proactive and exhibit professional maturity, a high EQ and an unwavering can-do attitude. This role is for someone who considers themself ambitious, passionate and proactive. 


Responsibilities:
Day to day, the responsibilities will look like but will not be limited to:
  • Extensive diary and calendar management for the Partners (often changing at the last minute).
  • Organising travel and accommodation with itineraries etc.
  • Meeting and greeting guests as and when needed and managing meeting room set up and VC tech.
  • Ordering office supplies, food, stationery.
  • Recruitment and interview coordination for the CPO when needed.
  • Invoicing reconciliations.
  • Attending Committee meetings and taking minutes.
  • Perform any other duties within your skills and abilities as reasonably instructed to improve the efficiency of the team.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Someone who has a minimum of 4 – 8 + years’ experience as an Executive Assistant in a hedge fund or private equity firm, or at minimum a highly demanding or fast-paced environment.
  • An expert multi-tasker who is proactive and demonstrates superb office etiquette.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to liaise with all levels with confidence and the utmost level of confidentiality.
  • Someone who maintains a high standard of personal output, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
  • Someone who is efficiency-focused, who is a keen learner and listener and willing to take on projects and varying tasks when needed.
  • Ability to work in an office 5 days per week from 8am – 6pm.
