An amazing opportunity to join a leading start-up Equity fund, at an exciting time following the closure of their second fund.
Supporting across Operations and Investment, you will be: a tenacious, composed character that thrives in demanding environments; has 5+ years supporting at the top level within Private Equity; and a strong understanding of the deal process in a boutique firm. This is a unique chance to step into some well-oiled shoes for a maternity cover, getting involved in some intricate projects and providing high-level support to two incredibly successful, and high calibre executives.
Day-to-day in this role will never be the same, with duties broken down to include:
EA duties for the COO and leading Investment Partner:
At interview it is vital you are able to demonstrate a strong understanding of boutique finance. This person will need to know how LPs integrate into the business, and the purpose of ICs, and be able to diligently work across both sides of the business in a neutral capacity.
This is a temporary position, to cover a maternity leave, and we are seeking someone with very relevant experience, having supported at Partner / C-suite level across both Investment teams and Operations. Having worked in a boutique, start-up environment would be a big bonus.

Please note: this role is 5 days in gorgeous Mayfair offices, 09:00-18:30, and we will be looking for someone to start towards the end of January 2025. The position will be paid on an hourly rate basis by ISE Partners.

Day-to-day in this role will never be the same, with duties broken down to include:
EA duties for the COO and leading Investment Partner:
- Extensive, complex diary management
- Travel arrangements within the UK and internationally including itinerary preparation, visas and handling multi-currency expenses
- Event management, internal and external. To include monthly team drinks, team Christmas party and external events such as closing dinners. Assisting the EA to the CEO with the AGM (40 delegates over several days) and company offsites
- Compiling marketing decks, for internal and external use, updating SalesForce
- Supporting portfolio company management, including monthly Board meeting arrangements, document production and attendant travel planning
- Support with LP queries, delegating where appropriate
- CEO cover for annual leave etc.
- Occasional personal tasks where required
- Responsible for day-to-day smooth running of the office including overseeing the workload for the Office/Team Assistant and being the hub for any queries and issues related to the office environment including liaising with building management/landlord
- Supplier/Agent management (Concur, travel provider, preferred hotels etc.)
- Convening the weekly support staff meeting to keep London, US and Europe offices up to speed with key updates /projects from an administrative perspective
- Supporting the COO with all aspects of their workload (e.g. Investment Committee arrangements, support with providing data and any governance admin)
- Recruitment management (setting up interviews, initiating background screening)
- Onboarding (induction, IT equipment ordering)
- Assisting with compliance and updating of policies
- Support with ESG commitments and policies
