Overview

We are looking for a standout Executive Assistant - someone with the intellect, curiosity and professional maturity to operate as a true thought‑partner to a senior leader. This is a role that combines both traditional EA duties with a full interest and ability to make impact within the business; it requires an EA who understands the pace, discretion and nuance of a boutique investment or family office environment, and who can confidently take ownership from day one - with a true understanding of the investments and activity.

You’ll support a newly appointed CIO within a respected family office, working closely together in‑person to build the trust, rhythm and rapport that makes this partnership so effective.

What we’re looking for

You’ll thrive here if you are:
  • An experienced EA with strong tenure in a family office or boutique investment setting, used to supporting at Partner/C‑Suite level.
  • Intellectually curious, commercially aware, and keen to understand the “why”, not just the “what”.
  • Naturally anticipatory - always a step ahead, always thinking in solutions.
  • Calm, assured, and emotionally intelligent, with the judgment to navigate senior stakeholders and complex situations effortlessly.
  • A confident communicator, capable of building trusted relationships across the business and with external partners.
If you bring sharp thinking, strong EQ and genuine pride in the quality of your work, this is a role where you will be valued, stretched and deeply trusted.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll act as the Partner’s right hand, ensuring every part of their world - business and logistics - runs smoothly, seamlessly and intelligently. Responsibilities include:
  • Acting as gatekeeper and main point of contact; managing inbox and calls with clarity and judgment
  • Managing a complex, ever‑evolving diary and coordinating high‑level meetings
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders and external partners, developing first‑class working relationships
  • Preparing documents, presentations and reports
  • Drafting, reviewing and refining correspondence
  • Supporting meeting preparation, including research packs and briefings
  • Coordinating client entertainment and events
  • Working closely with the wider EA cohort to ensure alignment and consistency
A particularly exciting aspect of the role is the opportunity to work closely with the Investment team on a major marketing initiative. The Partner is currently managing relationships with external marketing agencies, and you’ll play a central part in ensuring these partnerships run smoothly and effectively. To do this well, you’ll need a strong grasp of the business, genuine commercial curiosity, and the confidence to engage with senior agency teams. This is an ideal opportunity for an EA who not only executes flawlessly but also enjoys stepping into a more outward‑facing, project‑driven space - contributing to how the firm presents itself to investors, stakeholders and the wider market.

The skills you’ll bring
  • Strong, proven experience in a boutique investment, family office or similar high‑touch environment (10+ years experience ideally, with strong exposure to the industry)
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities calmly and accurately
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong Microsoft Office and CRM proficiency
  • Solutions‑focused, composed and proactive - especially under pressure
  • Collaborative, ego‑free and respectful in your approach
  • Enthusiasm for a role that goes above and beyond with new duties
If you’re an EA who brings intelligence, curiosity and real professional pride to your work, we’d love to speak with you.
