We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded Health Centre and Doctor’s Practice in the heart of Notting Hill and Kensington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has gained solid front-of-house or call-handling experience and is now ready to build a long-term career within medical reception.

The Role
As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice. This position requires someone who combines empathy and kindness with the ability to follow strict medical triage processes and confidentiality guidelines.

You will be:

• Managing a busy front desk with professionalism and warmth
• Handling a high volume of inbound calls with speed, accuracy and care
• Booking appointments in line with GP triage procedures
• Responding to patient queries promptly and sensitively
• Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to GDPR and NHS guidelines
• Liaising with clinicians and the wider practice team to ensure seamless patient care

About You

• 1–3 years’ experience in reception or customer service (retail, hospitality, corporate or healthcare)
• A calm, patient and empathetic communicator
• Confident handling sensitive information with discretion
• Able to follow structured processes and meet strict regulatory standards
• Excellent telephone manner with fast, efficient response times
• Organised, resilient and comfortable in a busy environment
