Overview

Do you love turning big ideas into social content people actually want to engage with?

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Strategist to help bring some of the world’s most influential ideas to life on social platforms.

This role sits at the intersection of editorial craft, social distribution, data, and emerging technology. You’ll work with high‑quality source material and use insight, creativity, and AI‑enabled tools to shape engaging, platform‑native content at global scale.

If you care about how ideas travel, enjoy adapting a single insight into multiple formats, and are excited by how AI can improve content workflows (without replacing good judgement), this role will suit you well.

What you’ll be doing
  • Translating complex ideas into clear, compelling social media content
  • Adapting single concepts into multiple formats and platform‑specific executions
  • Writing, editing, and refining copy to a consistently high editorial standard
  • Using performance insights and social analytics to guide content decisions
  • Applying structured thinking to content development and delivery
  • Using AI tools to support ideation, drafting, variation, and workflow efficiency
  • Generating content variations for different audiences and use cases
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment
  • Ensuring all content is on‑brand, high‑quality, and safe to publish

What we’re looking for
  • 2–4 years’ experience in social media, editorial, brand, or communications roles
  • Experience managing social content for a global organisation, media company, or brand
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong editorial eye
  • Sound social media judgement and understanding of audience behaviour across platforms
  • Hands‑on experience with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite or similar)
  • Ability to create or refine visual assets using tools such as Canva
  • Familiarity with analytics, reporting, and content optimisation
  • Interest in or experience using AI‑enabled tools for content creation or analysis
  • Highly organised, comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong collaborator with confident stakeholder management skills
