Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Assistant to join a boutique, founder-led global Private Equity firm with its UK headquarters in London in this 12 month contract. The London office is c.20 people and highly collaborative, supporting a fast-paced and demanding investment environment.

This is a hands-on role supporting across the business, working closely with the EA to the CEO, the EA to the Managing Partner, and the COO. As there is no dedicated receptionist, the successful candidate will also take on office assistant responsibilities, including meet-and-greet and liaising with the building’s ground floor reception. This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys mucking in and being a key part of a small but high-performing team.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive team support across the London office
  • Complex diary management, scheduling across time zones, and meeting coordination
  • Expenses processing and general administrative support
  • Supporting senior stakeholder including the CEO, Managing Partner, and COO
  • Acting as a visible point of contact for visitors: meet & greet, coordinating with ground floor reception
  • Overseeing day-to-day office assistant duties to ensure the office runs smoothly
  • Working closely with other assistants globally, adapting to changing priorities
  • Thriving under pressure in a busy Private Equity environment
Required Experience & Skills
  • Significant experience as a Team Assistant within a global financial services firm
  • Background in Private Equity or Hedge Fund environments strongly preferred
  • Ideally trained in a larger PE firm or investment bank before moving into a boutique setting
  • Comfortable supporting multiple senior stakeholders with very busy diaries
  • Able to hit the ground running with minimal handholding
  • Calm, resilient, and professional under pressure
  • Naturally proactive, hands-on, and collaborative
  • Experience in a founder-led firm is a significant advantage
